1) Agreement and ACL statement

By purchasing or using a ticket or add-on for the Event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Consumer guarantees may apply to services and cannot be excluded.

2) Ticket types, inclusions, and entry rules

2.1 Ticket schedule (current Odoo structure)

Prices shown include a 3.5% processing fee.

  • GA Saturday – $31.05 

  • GA Sunday – $31.05 

  • GA Weekend (Sat+Sun) – $51.75 

  • Prime Viewing Saturday (18+ only) – $51.75 

  • Prime Viewing Sunday (18+ only) – $51.75 

  • VIP Saturday (18+ only) – $310.50 

  • VIP Sunday (18+ only) – $310.50 

2.2 Kids 16 and under – free entry (no kids wristbands)

  • Children aged 16 and under receive free entry when accompanied by a responsible adult ticket holder.

  • We may request proof of age at the gate (e.g., student ID, passport, or other ID).

  • No wristbands are issued for kids. Children must remain with their supervising adult and comply with all safety directions.

2.3 General Admission (GA) – inclusions

GA tickets include:

  • Entry to event grounds for the purchased day(s)

  • GA viewing

  • Pit access

  • Food/drink access: food vendors, canteen items, water station

  • Toilets

  • General entertainment

Alcohol-free rule (GA):

GA viewing areas are alcohol-free. Alcohol may only be consumed in designated licensed/bar areas as signposted. Anyone consuming alcohol in GA areas may be directed to pour it out, or may be removed for repeated non-compliance of liquor licensing conditions.

2.4 Prime Viewing (18+ only) – inclusions

Prime Viewing includes:

  • Everything in GA, plus

  • Access to a fenced Prime Viewing section, including access to a bar area

Prime Viewing is strictly 18+ only. Valid ID is required. Wristbands must be worn. 

2.5 VIP (18+ only) – inclusions

VIP includes:

  • VIP area access

  • Premium start-line viewing

  • Food and alcohol included, subject to RSA conditions and reasonable limits

VIP is strictly 18+ only. Valid ID is required. Wristbands must be worn. 

3) Add-ons (parking)

3.1 Premium Parking (Saturday/Sunday) – add-on only

  • Not an entry ticket. Entry requires a valid Event Ticket (or free-entry child admission under clause 2.2).

  • Premium parking spot closer than standard public parking (as available).

  • Limited spots; allocated first come, best dressed on the day.

  • Vehicle type restriction: Parking add-ons are for standard cars only. They do not include caravans, motorhomes, campervans, mobile homes, buses, trucks, trailers, or oversized vehicles unless we confirm in writing.

3.2 VIP Parking (Saturday/Sunday) – add-on only

  • Not an entry ticket.

  • Premium parking spot near VIP area.

  • Limited spots; allocated first come, best dressed on the day.

  • Vehicle type restriction: Parking add-ons are for standard cars only. They do not include caravans, motorhomes, campervans, mobile homes, buses, trucks, trailers, or oversized vehicles unless we confirm in writing.

4) Prices, fees, proof of purchase

  • Prices are in AUD

  • GST is included where applicable. If GST applies to your purchase, it will be shown at checkout and included in the total price paid.

  • A 3.5% processing fee is included in pricing where stated.

  • You must present a valid ticket QR code/confirmation for entry and any applicable add-on validation.

5) Wristbands, re-entry, and gate policy (adults only)

  • Wristbands may be issued to ticket holders for GA/Prime Viewing/VIP and/or for re-entry control.

  • Re-entry is only permitted with an official Event wristband fitted by event staff (ticket holders only).

  • Wristbands are non-transferable and may be checked at any time.

6) Entry conditions, conduct, and safety directions

Entry is subject to venue conditions, capacity limits, safety requirements, and reasonable directions from event staff, officials and security.

We may refuse entry or remove a person for unsafe behaviour, harassment, violence, serious intoxication, illegal conduct, or entering restricted operational areas (including water, launch and race operations zones). If removed for misconduct, refunds are not required (subject to ACL where applicable).

7) RSA and alcohol service (Prime Viewing / VIP)

Alcohol service is subject to RSA and venue/event conditions. We may refuse service and/or remove patrons who are intoxicated, disorderly, or in breach of conditions. Prime Viewing and VIP are 18+ only.

8) Change of mind

No refunds are required for change of mind (e.g., you can’t attend, bought the wrong ticket/add-on), unless we choose to offer a discretionary change-of-mind policy.

9) Event changes, cancellation, and refunds (ACL-aligned)

If we cancel the Event (or a ticketed day) or make a significant/major change, consumers may have rights to a refund depending on the circumstances. Refunds (where applicable) will be processed to the original payment method via Odoo where reasonably possible.

10) Weather / unsafe water conditions / natural disaster / government directions 

If a ticketed day is cancelled due to severe weather, unsafe water conditions, natural disaster or government direction, we will refund the affected ticketed day(s) and any unused add-ons purchased for the cancelled day. If the Event proceeds and the venue is open, weather alone does not automatically create a refund entitlement.

11) Photography/filming and drones

The Event may be photographed/filmed. By attending, you consent to your image/voice being captured and used in Event communications.

No drones permitted on the pondage and surrounds during event days unless expressly authorised by the Organiser.

12) Risk and personal property

Motorsport environments involve inherent risks. You attend at your own risk and must take reasonable care, including supervising children. Personal property is brought at your own risk.

13) Minors

Children/minors must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Prime Viewing and VIP are 18+ only.

14) Accessibility

Accessibility information will be published on the Event page or is available on request via info@dragboats.com.au.
